Ryan Treacy steered the strong-travelling Neverushacon home in the Lord Hemphill Memorial Handicap Chase for Jessica Harrington.

The pair set sail after the last but had Lucky Pat and Barry Browne in pursuit.

However, Neverushacon stuck to his task well in the final furlong and strode in by four lengths at 12/1.

The runner-up was also a 12/1 chance and he was 16 lengths in front of Attribution 5/1. Jack The Wire the 6/4 favourite, was well beaten in eighth but was found to be slightly lame behind post race.

Ryan Treacy said: "You couldn't ask for a better spin and he was great the whole way. It's nice to get a winner on my first day back. I've been out for eight weeks after injuring ,my shoulder at Kilbeggan."
