Tsar Paul lands a gamble

James Nash landed a gamble after his charge Tsar Paul who was 12/1 this morning with Boylesports and returned a 4/1 took the concluding race at Dundalk this afternoon.

It was a treble on the day for Pat Smullen who took the riding honours aboard the son of Xaar.

A delighted Nash said afterwards: "It was very obvious he just didn't stay the last day. He had a little wind operation during the Winter."

"He has been working with our good horse Luisant and after he ran well we knew this lad definitely had his chance."
