Wate And Sea (9/2) was unleashed by Adrian Heskin at the third last and she readily put the race away after negotiating the penultimate obstacle in the two mile handicap hurdle at Cork.

She travelled nicely in second throughout just off Cillian's Well but worked her way to the head of affairs at the third last. She galloped on between the last two and held the lead by a couple of lengths upon reaching the final hurdle.

Once that was cleared, she bounded on to win by a length and three quarters from Seeyouallincoppers (9/2). Cliffside Park the 4/1 favourite came in third, beaten three lengths by the winner.

John Joe Walsh said: "She's improving all the time and jumped great. That's Adrian's (Heskin) fifth win on her so he is married to her now!

"She is after getting stronger and has a good bit of foot. Hopefully the ground stays good for another while and if it does she'll have another run."
