The Download The BarOneRacing.com App Handicap produced a fairytale outcome for Jessica O’Gorman (17, from county Clare) as, on her first racecourse ride, she partnered Miss Cunning (5/1) to a length and a half success over the 3/1 favourite Sienna Lady

Early in the straight it looked like the latter was holding Miss Cunning, but the Sir Prancealot filly, winning at the track for the third time, picked up well under a hands and heels ride to gain the upper hand inside the final furlong.

The first two were well clear of third home Loughanlea Lass

Jeremy Harley, stable representative for winning trainer Kevin Prendergast, said: "We're absolutely delighted, it's Jessica's first ride on the track and she's riding for the boss so it's a great start to her career. Hopefully it'll be one of many.

“The filly likes the track and Jessica gave her a great ride. She was under strict instructions to look the part and hopefully she did.

“The boss is absolutely delighted that he was able to give her a good start.”
