Woody Creek followed up a win at Naas 11 days ago with a second career at Cork today as the Fozzy Stack trained filly landed the Matchbook Low Commission Exchange Rated Race under jockey Andrew Slattery.

Successful in a Naas handicap recently, the daughter of Zoffany today settled behind the leaders before progressing to lead over a furlong out and beat Cityman by two and a half lengths.

Afterwards Stack stated “she did it well and is just starting to get her confidence back. Hopefully she keeps progressing and we'll see where we go next. She holds an entry for the Ballyogan Stakes and I wouldn't rule it out, an owner-breeder (Craig Bernick) has her.”
