O'Grady said: "Looking at that today I'm sorry I didn't put him in the Pierse Hurdle. I don't know where he'll go next."
McNamara doubled up on 14-1 shot D's Trix in the Dromdowney Handicap Hurdle, trained by his father Andrew McNamara senior.
The gelding made stealthy headway after four out and had enough in reserve at the death to beat Soleil Levant by two and a half lengths.
The winning trainer said: "He'll go to Limerick at Christmas. He'll jump a fence in time and is a nice horse."
McNamara was only just denied a three-timer in the Fermoy Maiden Hurdle as his mount Acapulco went under to Liam Burke's Seven Days (8-1) in a pulsating finish.
Lenny Flynn conjured a late rattle out of Knockieran (14-1) to get up close home in the Ballyclough Handicap Hurdle, while 7-4 market leader Lonesome Dove took the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Mares INH Flat Race.
