< Ardhoomey took his game to a new level with victory in the Racing Again June 12th Race at Cork, proving the highlight of a Colin Keane treble before the weather took its toll.

Reappearing just five days on from a handicap win at Navan, Ger Lyons' sprinter faced stronger competition but that didn't stop him being sent off the 7-4 favourite.< Abstraction blazed a trail and had them all on the stretch as they entered the final furlong, but Keane conjured a late lunge out of Ardhoomey, who got on top by half a length.

The Keane three-timer began when Spy Ring made a successful introduction in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden.

The Michael O'Callaghan-trained 9-2 chance travelled and quickened in the style of useful prospect to see off fellow newcomer Arabian Verse by a head, but the race was marred by the hot favourite Gone To Russia pulling up injured at the furlong pole and she couldn't be saved.

Keane capped his excellent night when Mittersill disposed of Aasheq in the Buy Online At corkracecourse.ie Maiden.

Lyons' 5-2 chance went in pursuit of the market leader when he went for home two furlongs out and stayed on best for a two-and-a-half-length call.

O'Callaghan looked like following up Spy Ring's triumph when Mr Bounty hit the front in the Cork Racecourse Handicap, but he was caught close home by Falcao (8-1), who prevailed by a length and a quarter.< Nora Batt left all her previous form behind to break through in the Mallow Town Summer BBQ Evening July 8th Handicap.

The 25-1 shot was 3lb out of the handicap but stormed along the rail in the hands of Conor Hoban to account for Candelaria by half a length.

The remaining couple of races had to be cancelled due to safety concerns following rain.
