< Scream Blue Murder relished the easy underfoot conditions to post a convincing success in the Father's Day Racing June 15th Race at Cork.

Wayne Lordan, who went on to a treble, had the Tommy Stack-trained filly (5-4 favourite) smartly out of the gate and she was soon bowling along in front occupying the rails berth in the five-furlong contest.

She burned off the opposition one by one and only outsider Master Speaker posed a threat, but he was beaten off from the furlong pole and Scream Blue Murder passed the post with a length and three-quarters in hand.

David Wachman's three-year-old Tango Time showed her disappointing run at the track last time was all wrong as she scored an eyecatching victory in the Follow Us On Facebook Maiden to give Lordan his second success.

The 8-1 shot travelled powerfully throughout on her step up to a mile and zipped clear from the two-furlong pole to beat the favourite Hudson's Bay by four lengths.

The jockey's treble came up when Eddie Lynam's Eighteen Summers (9-1), who built up a six-length lead in mid-race, kept on bravely to take the Follow Cork Racecourse On Twitter Handicap in a three-way thriller, holding Lucky Bridle by half a length.

There was a winner for Joseph O'Brien on his 21st birthday when his father Aidan's 11-8 favourite Just Gorgeous nabbed the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden by a short head on the line from long-time leader Ode To Psyche

Pat Smullen led all the way to take the Cork Racecourse Handicap on Sean Byrne's 11-4 favourite Lean And Keen keeping a bit up his sleeve to beat off all-comers down the straight for a length-and-a-half victory.

Declan McDonogh found big trouble when trying to challenge on Ado McGuinness's Beau Satchel (18-1) in the Social Package Handicap, but despite being stopped he still found time to burst through and win by half a length in the shadow of the post.
