Wayne Lordan and David Wachman enjoyed a double at Down Royal, culminating in Harpist s victory in the Magners Berry Maiden.

Lordan was content to kick on a long way from home on the 4-7 favourite and she kept finding more to beat Lateral Thinking by a length and a half.

Earlier, Lordan timed it just right on Ava Star as they got up late to land the Magners Irish Cider EBF Auction Maiden.< Harlem Shake appeared to have seen off all rivals from the front, but Lordan eased the 12-1 winner between horses and ran on to win by half a length.

St Leger entry Dabadiyan proved too good for his rivals in the feature race on the card, Her Majesty's Plate.

Mick Halford's 4-6 favourite travelled sweetly for Declan McDonogh throughout, but had to work hard in the closing stages to score by three quarters of a length from Shu Lewis < Strandfield Lady showed tremendous battling qualities to finally get the better of Keeping in the www.downroyal.com Fillies Handicap.

Settled just off Keeping's early pace by Connor King, the 4-1 chance took an age to get on top after the turn for home, but she boxed on well to emerge victorious by half a length.

Andrew Oliver's Target Acquired was another game winner, making almost all the running to land the Now Is A Good Time Handicap.

The 9-4 chance was never given a moment's peace by Toccata Blue who looked to have edged ahead in the final furlong, but Oliver's runner battled back to score by a head.< Tsar Paul (11-1) gave Joseph O'Brien a winner when bursting into the lead late on to win the Magners Light Handicap.

Billy Lee found a very willing partner in Overland Express (-1), who made every yard of the running to land the Apple Orchard Handicap.
