< Clear Skies continued to make up for lost time with victory in the Dundalk Stadium - Light Up Your Night Handicap.

The Aidan O'Brien-trained half-sister to Motivator was a promising juvenile in 2015 but didn't see a racecourse last year and only shed her maiden tag here last week.

That must have boosted her confidence a bit because she travelled easily to the lead inside the final quarter-mile and when pressed by favourite Thunder Speed pulled out more to prevail by half a length at odds of 4-1.< Alfredo Arcano regained the winning thread with a narrow verdict in the five-furlong Dundalk Stadium - Light Up Your Night Handicap

Chris Hayes went for home with a furlong to travel on the 3-1 chance and while he was joined on the line by Aggression David Marnane's gelding prevailed in a bob of heads.

Marnane followed up when 11-4 favourite Settle For Bay ran out an emphatic winner of the Floodlit Friday Nights Rated Race.

Hayes hit the front on Honor Oak a furlong and a half from home, but Donagh O'Connor was powering down the outside on Settle For Bay, who crossed the line with a couple of lengths in hand.

Seven days on from his second in handicap company here, War Hero went one better in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden.

The race was between the 9-2 winner and Bella Signora from early in the straight, and Patrick Prendergast's youngster gained the spoils by a short head.< Timia (7-2) was hit with an 11lb rise for last week's seven-furlong triumph, but followed up over a mile in the Ash Brothers Building Contractors Handicap (Div 2) under 10lb claimer Ben Coen.

The first division went to Masalai while Play It Cool led home an Andy Oliver one-two-three in the www.dundalkstadium.com Maiden and Mandarin Monarch won the Crowne Plaza Leading Jockey & Trainer Championship Handicap.
