The O'Brien family enjoyed a good time of it at Leopardstown, with patriarch Aidan saddling a double, ridden by son Joseph and daughter Ana.< Perhaps had to work a little harder than her odds of 2-5 suggested she would, but she still got the job done in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden to get the Ballydoyle handler off the mark for the day.

Pushed out by Joseph to see off the pacesetting Tahaany the filly responded well to fend off Chroussa s late charge by a neck.< Rain God gave Ana O'Brien her winner in the Bulmers Original Summer Music Apprentice Handicap.

The 2-1 favourite travelled well and kicked clear at the two furlong pole, but the post came just in time as Little Arrows flew home for second, finishing just three-quarters of a length down.< Via Ballycroy ran out a fairly comfortable winner of the Visit The Circle Lounge Fillies Race.

Travelling sweetly on the heels of leader Talitha Kum under Shane Foley, the even-money favourite angled out at the furlong pole and soon swept into the lead.< Curly Wee tried to get on terms in the closing stages, but Michael Halford's filly was always holding that challenge at bay and came home a length to the good.

A gelding operation seems to have done the trick with Exogenesis who ran on well to land the Royal Western India Turf Club Race.

Beaten a fair way on his debut at this track, he has since won two out of two since being gelded and the 4-1 chance quickened away nicely before outfinishing Friendship by a length and a half under Gary Carroll.

Jim Bolger's Teoirim (11-1) ran out a very game winner of the 'Original Rude Boys' Handicap, fending off the fast finish of Abbey Vale to score under Kevin Manning.
