Moulin A Vent returns to action in the Meath Farm Machinery Hurdle at Navan on Saturday.

After winning a maiden hurdle at Punchestown last November, Noel Meade campaigned his five-year-old at a really high level, finishing fourth in a Grade Two, second in a Grade Three and then down the field in the three-mile Grade One novice hurdle at the Punchestown Festival.

He still has plenty of time to make up into a classy sort, but must concede race-fitness to four opponents that include Jaime Sommers, who was impressive at Kilbeggan before unshipping Cathal Landers at Galway at the beginning of the week.

High Nellie was fourth in that Ballybrit contest and also makes a swift reappearance, with the field completed by last-start winners Runyon Rattler and Masterson.

Meade sends Bel Ami De Sivola over fences in an interesting Emerald Facility Services Beginners Chase.

Another to be campaigned at a high level as a novice hurdler, he is rated 127 in that sphere, which doesn't give him too much to spare over the likes of Call The Taxie and Marakoush, while A Sizing Network and Ballela Boy have the advantage of previous chasing experience under their belts.

Big things were expected of Mengli Khan last season and he starts his second jumping campaign in the opening At The Races Maiden Hurdle at 1.50.

Smart on the level, he got to within a length of Ex Patriot on his jumping bow before a fair fourth in Grade Three company.

His trainer Gordon Elliott and jockey Jack Kennedy also combine with Swingbridge, who is on a four-timer in the Sequence Events Handicap Hurdle.

Kennedy partners Cecil Corbett rather than Elliott's new recruit Cocktails At Dawn in the At The Races Handicap Chase, while Nina Carberry has been booked for Moonlight Escape, who is one of two newcomers for the Cullentra House handler in the Meath Farm Machinery (Pro/Am) Flat Race.
