Willie Mullins claimed a one-two in Sligo's All Sports Betting Tubbercurry Hurdle but needed the intervention of the stewards.
The Mark McNiff-trained Seskinane ran out a decisive winner but was deemed to have impeded Twigline when making his move rounding the home turn and he was disqualified, giving the prize to even-money favourite On His Own who finished just ahead of stablemate Twigline.< Miss Palm (5-2 favourite) broke through for a deserved success in the June 18th At Sligo Mares Maiden Hurdle.
The winning pointer hadn't managed to get her head in front in 10 previous attempts under Rules but, teamed up with Barry Geraghty for the first time, she made headway to take up the running approaching the final flight, and a slick leap there helped seal a six-and-a-half-length defeat of Our Ellie B
There was a good tussle for the Brendan Morris Memorial Maiden Hurdle, with Zabana just getting the better of Sunsetstorise by a length.
The 13-8 market leader joined the runner-up at the head of affairs on the turn for home, but he was awkward over the last and only got the measure of Sunsetstorise in the final 100 yards.
