< Gordon Lord Byron got back to winning ways under a cheeky ride from Billy Lee in the Follow TipperaryRaces On Twitter Race.

Tom Hogan's triple Group One winner was held up in the early stages, but travelled supremely well throughout.< Elleval held the lead at the furlong pole but Lee had not asked for maximum effort and drove the 11-8 favourite into the lead just before the line, winning a shade cosily by half a length.< Promise To Be True swept past her rivals in the closing stages to score on debut in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden.

Aidan O'Brien saddled three of the five runners and it was Elizabeth Browning who looked set to land the spoils at the furlong pole, but Seamie Heffernan got the 2-1 favourite into top gear close home and she flew past to score by a length.< Elltaaf made every yard of the running to get off the mark in the Tipperary Maiden.

Just three runners lined up and Connor King was happy to dictate matters on Paddy Twomey's 8-13 favourite, who made his switch from Godolphin to Twomey's Cashel yard a winning one, scoring with some ease.

Michael Mulvany's Jembatt (8-1) just found enough under Gary Carroll to fend off the late flourish of Hatton Cross in the Tipperary Ladies Day Saturday 9th July Handicap.

The application of blinkers and return to this track worked wonders for End Play who ran out a commanding winner of the Pride Of Tipperary Festival 2016 Fillies Handicap.

The Aidan Howard-trained 20-1 chance was in command on the home turn and kept up the gallop well for Leigh Roche, running out a two and a half-length winner over Aimhirgin Lass

Jim Culloty's Knockmaole Boy (5-2) followed up a recent Ballinrobe success to land the Buy Online At TipperaryRaces.ie Handicap under Robbie Downey.
