Trainer David Marnane and jockey Connor King combined to win the Follow Dundalk On Facebook Handicap at Dundalk this evening with 11/8 favourite Sheeba
The pair were in action at Meydan on Thursday where Elleval took second in a 1m2f handicap but Sheeba went one place better today, arriving with a late challenge to win Rest Assured by a head.
Afterwards King stated "he was a bit green and took a while to get going. He'd been running well in some good maidens.
"We always thought he was a nice horse and he was working well at home. He'd a nice mark for his first handicap."
