Boher Call held on in the closing stages to record a game front-running performance in the concluding two-and-a-half mile handicap chase at Navan this afternoon.

Mark Enright 's mount was strongly pressed going to the second last but pulled out more to assert before the final fence.

Derrychrin ran on well on the run-in but the line came just in time for Paul Flynn's charge as he recorded a head victory.

Boher Call was the sixth winning favourite of the day and had been well backed into 5/2 having been 4/1 this morning.

He had run well over course and distance just under two weeks ago when going down by a length to Ibetellingyoualie.

The winner is owned by Bernadette Kiernan and was bred by her husband Cyril.

"I'm delighted for Cyril who has had lots of horses over the years but hasn't had too many good ones. He's local to me," said Flynn.
