Veteran performer Almadaa has hit a rich vein of form in the last couple of months and bids for a hat-trick at Dundalk.

David Marnane's charge has made the most of slipping down the weights over the winter with back-to-back successes recently.

The eight-year-old looked set for a comprehensive victory over six furlongs last time out when skipping clear and did well in the end to hold the late charge of Fastidious.

He had previously been a narrow winner over the five-furlong trip of the Light Up Your Night Apprentice Handicap and that win seems to have done him the world of good.

He still remains a nice bit below his career-high mark off 93 on the all-weather surface and looks capable of grabbing another win off his current rating of 76.

He again faces old rival Strategic Heights. John Feane's gelding failed to make much impression behind Almadaa when they last met but had previously only tasted defeat by a short head over course and distance.

He has a 6lb pull now for that narrow defeat and has to be a big threat dropping back to what seems to be his favourite trip.

The three-year-old No Fear carries a 6lb penalty after a game front-running win last Friday but faces a much stiffer task now against seasoned performers.

Top-weight Have A Great Day is another who comes back in trip having run freely here on Friday night but he'll need to show plenty of toe to hold his position from box one.

Moonmeister has already landed a hat-trick of victories at the course during the winter and bids to get back into the winner's enclosure in the Follow Us On Facebook Handicap.

He had to settle for second on his return from a short break over the mile-and-a-half trip.

Gordon Elliott's charge kept on well but just couldn't peg back Pivot Bridge and looks to have a big shout of going in again off a 2lb higher mark.

Wither Hills, who was a length and three-quarters behind him in third then, is entitled to get a bit closer now on revised terms.

Sparanai got off the mark in an apprentice handicap on her last start and off just a 3lb higher mark, she may be capable of going close again for Jim Bolger.
