Breenainthemycra was well-supported to follow up his recent win at Limerick and duly landed the spoils in style in the Free Admission For Ladies May 21st Handicap at Clonmel this evening.

Eoin Doyle 's charge traded at 3/1 this morning but the money arrived for the son of Jeremy and he went to post 7/4 favourite.

Pat Smullen tracked the leaders in the ten furlong contest before making his move to challenge two furlongs from home.

He hit the front over a furlong out and despite drifted over to the stand's rail was soon in command. Smullen could afford to ease up close home for a three-length success over Rockview Emperor

"He's improving away but wasn't doing a whole pile in front. He is still relatively green but travelled great and Pat said he is a nice horse," said Doyle.

"He was just a bit lairy in front but he's still a colt so we'll have to look at sorting that problem out. Hopefully he'll win again and also jumps well but we'll have to take out 'the little ones' first!"
