Richard Hannon is targeting Pattern glory with Monday's Windsor winner Nisser.

The Dream Ahead colt finished third behind subsequent July Stakes winner Shalaa on his racecourse bow in May and then proved most disappointing when only fourth at Ascot on his next start.

However, Nisser the 3/10 favourite under Richard Hughes, bounced back to form at Windsor. Hannon is now looking towards the Worthington Whizz Kidz Stakes, better known as the Horris Hill, at Newbury on October 24 as a long-range aim.

He said: "He's been a disappointment up until now - we thought he was our Coventry horse.

"We'll give him a break and find a conditions stakes and then something nice at the back-end, the Horris Hill, possibly."
