Postponed is set for a break before being prepared for the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe on October 4.

The King George hero is reported to have come out of his Ascot heroics in great shape by trainer Luca Cumani, who is targeting a trip to Longchamp on Arc Trials day in September as a stepping stone to the main event.

Cumani said: "He came out of the race fantastic. He ate up everything and was bright and perky this morning.

"We said after he won the Voltigeur (last year) that the focus was on the King George. It doesn't often work out, so it's very satisfying when it does.

"He'll have a mini-break now and then have a prep race, probably the Prix Foy at Longchamp, and then go for the Arc."
