Robbie Downey brought up a Leopardstown double, adding to his first race gains on Captain Power by getting Equation Of Time home in the 'Stunning' Apprentice Handicap.
Many still had chances at the business end of this mile one event, but Equation Of Time was strongest when it mattered as he got the verdict by three parts of a length and a head over Liberty's Gift and Timeless Focus
Equation Of Time is trained by Garvan Donnelly whilst the earlier Downey winner was for the Eddie Lynam yard.
"The jockey's on fire and has been very lucky for us the past few weeks. He gave him a good ride as he's not straight-forward," said Donnelly.
"He's dropped back to a mark he's capable of running well off. In Galway things didn't work out and he didn't like coming down the hill.
"I thought he was in good form and that's why we came here. The main aim for him will be the Listowel Festival again."
