The Joe Dullea trained Damut made it four wins in-a-row as he easily took the feature at Cork, the Grade C Ticket Sales Online Handicap Hurdle.

Up twenty-six pounds since his initial success, the son of Gamut was sent off a 5/1 chance today under Andrew Lynch.

Settled in mid-division he made progress before the straight and hit the front on the run to three out.

He soon put the race to bed and came home twelve lengths to the good. Federici (9/1) finished second under Robbie Colgan for Enda Bolger while Kerrieonvic (12/1) was a further three parts of a length back in third under Roger Loughran for Charles Byrnes. Sam Red was sent off the 2/1 favourite and he was a further two lengths back in fourth under Adrian Heskin for Alan Fleming.

Joe Dullea said afterwards: "He was very impressive and surprised me how easy he won. We'll find something for him around Christmas time.

"I knew at home that he would handle loose ground. He's very versatile in trip and ground, and anything from two miles to two and a half is fine.

"We'll have to consider races like the Boylesports Hurdle now."
