< Pandagreen (7-1) lunged late to deny the well-backed Glenamoy Lad in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Auction Race at Leopardstown.

Shane Foley dictated terms to suit himself on 13-8 favourite Glenamoy Lad and appeared to have shaken off all challengers inside the final furlong.

He began to tread water as the line loomed, though, and the Gavin Cromwell-trained Pandagreen led the pack of pursuers, getting up by half a length, with Lady Volante pipping Glenamoy Lad to the runner-up spot.

Experience told in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Maiden as Eagle Spirit justified 11-10 favouritism.

Joseph O'Brien's Holy Roman Emperor colt was third in a good course maiden and he knuckled down well to see off two well-bred Aidan O'Brien-trained newcomers in Venezuela and Diodorus accounting for the former by half a length.< Midnight Crossing took advantage as Schubert once again found a way to lose in the Leopardstown Summer Music & Racing Festival Maiden.

The latter seemingly had matters sewn up until colliding into the rail just over a furlong out, and 7-4 favourite Midnight Crossing stormed down the outside to beat Time To Reason by seven lengths.

Just 24 hours on from his Naas success, Mr Right followed up in the Dublin Horse Show 20-24 July Handicap.

Carrying a 5lb penalty, the 4-1 joint-favourite made his move last of all in the hands of Donagh O'Connor and he ran right the way to the line to dispose of The Tulip by half a length.< Zebgrey didn't have the best of draws in the Nathan Carter Apprentice Handicap and had to race towards the rear, but Oisin Orr brought the 5-1 shot with a perfectly-timed challenge to nail Mr Ormsby on the line.< Blairmayne was on a hat-trick mission in the Racecourse Of The Year Handicap but couldn't quite reel in Fit For Function (8-1), who was given a fine front-running ride by Gary Carroll.
