Clemmie could be rerouted to Newmarket for the Cheveley Park Stakes after she missed an intended assignment on Irish Champions Weekend.

The gifted youngster was withdrawn from the Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh on Sunday as the ground became too testing.

She is now under consideration to step up to the top table at Newmarket on September 30.

Trainer Aidan O'Brien told the Irish Independent : "We think Clemmie will have no problems over further but so far she's been at six furlongs and we just had to avoid that bad ground."

Compatriot Lightening Quick, a first-time-out scorer at Leopardstown on Saturday, could join Clemmie in the line-up.

Trainer Ger Lyons said: "She may go to the Cheveley Park, all going well."
