Colin Keane edged ahead again by one over Pat Smullen in the race to be champion jockey. Keane's success for his boss, Ger Lyons, on My Mystique in division one of the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Fillies Maiden (Plus 10 Race), put him on to the 74 winner mark for the campaign.

Here at Dundalk newcomer Tammy Wynette drifted to the left when asked to go and win her race, and experience counted in favour of My Mystique, and indeed runner-up, Shalailah

When all was said and done, former trainer Homer Scott's My Mystique had three parts of a length and a head in hand over Shalailah and Tammy Wynette.

Shane Lyons said in the aftermath: "We gave her a summer break as she is a big tall horse and is a full sister to Insayshable. She has really appreciated the break and we like her a lot. Homer (Scott, owner/breeder) stands the sire, Raj, and he throws a lovely, sensible, good-looking horse.

"That could be it for the year unless she knocks the stable down telling us she wants to go for black type. We will treat her like a real nice horse with a three-year-old career in mind and she will get further."
