Lightly-raced Alletrix grabbed her first victory on her third start when powering home in the two-and-a-half mile maiden hurdle in Gowran Park.

Robbie Power 's mount made rapid headway after the third last to close on Delayed Eloquence and readily picked that rival off on the approach to the penultimate flight.

She jumped the last with a comfortable lead over a staying-on Cluan Dara and wasn't extended in winning by four and a half lengths at 10/1.

Cluan Dara went off at 5/1 and he was five and a half lengths ahead of Chateaueuf Du Pap (13/2).

Jessica Harrington said: “The ground was bottomless in Listowel but she has come on a hell of lot from that run, and needed two and a half miles.

"She also was getting all the allowances today. She is a very slick jumper and it doesn’t matter if she is in close or not.

“It’s great that Sally (Rowley-Williams, owner) is here, and she will head into mares' races.”
