Cimeara stayed on strongly in the closing stages to get up for a winning debut in the fillies median auction maiden at Gowran.

The Jim Bolger-trained daughter of Vocalised looked to have plenty to do early in the straight but stuck to her task well and got closer before the furlong pole in the mile contest.

Kevin Manning got a good tune from the 10/1 shot in the final furlong as she ran on to claim Dianthus close home for a half length win.

Bolger's travelling head lad Ger Flynn said:- "Kevin said she was very green for one of ours but came home really well.

“She should learn a lot and improve from that. It was very testing out there today and she seemed to handle it. She is a nice filly going forward."
