Camile landed a major gamble in the Racing Again May 19th Handicap, scoring on just her second start for current connections.

Available at 25/1 in a place this morning, the daughter of Captain Rio opened on-course at just 15/2, before going off the 7/2 favourite under Wayne Lordan.

Settled in mid-division on the outer, she was pushed along and ridden from the three furlong pole. It wasn't until just over a furlong out that she really got going, getting to the front inside the final 150 yards, before going on to score by two and a half lengths. Templemary Boy (9/1) finished second under Shane Foley for Paul Flynn, while the well-backed Feeling Easy (25s this morning and from 12s to 17/2 on-course) was a short head back in third with Denis Linehan aboard for Tony Mulholland. Bella Rua completed the placings another half a length back in fourth, with Leigh Roche aboard this 16/1 chance.

"She was working fairly okay and had come down a good bit in the weights. On her old form she was entitled to do that," said O'Brien.

"Wayne gave her fantastic ride as she never looked like she was going to win anywhere."

The winner was previously trained by Jessica Harrington and most recently Philip Rothwell. She won a handicap at Tipperary for Harrington in May of 2016, and she is named after a string of Thai Restaurants in Dublin which are run by her former owner Turlough Blessing.
