Harry Rogers is hopeful Remarkable Lady can pick up some valuable black type in the Group Three Irish Stallion Farms EBF Stanerra Stakes at Leopardstown on Thursday evening.

The five-year-old mare was second in a Listed race to Airlie Beach last year but fast ground has hindered her progress so far this season.

Shane Foley, on board for three of her four outings this term, is back in the saddle.

"We left her in hoping there would be a small field so she may as well take her chance," said Rogers.

"If she hits the frame it will be a big bonus, but she is well. She likes a bit of slow ground really, though.

"The way the weather is we just don’t know when that might be so she may as well run.

"Going back up in trip won’t be a problem, she has no problem staying, she’d probably stay two miles.

"If she happens to get black type that would be great.

"She's won at Galway before and now she's down to a mark of 91 there’s a handicap there for her we could look at after this."

Aidan O’Brien's Sizzling is likely to be favourite after finishing third in a good Oaks Trial at Naas.

Joseph O'Brien runs Detailed, Jim Bolger is represented by Cimeara and John Oxx’s Naughty Or Nice is another another contender on last year's form.

Fozzy Stack’s three-race maiden Tooreen Katie completes the field.
