Batchelors Walk and Arch Stanton fought out a tremendous finish to the Class Grass Handicap Hurdle in Roscommon with the former prevailing by the narrowest margin.

The pair couldn't be separated jumping the last and fought all the way to the line with Batchelors Walk (25/1) and Andrew Ring getting the verdict by a nose from the judge.

Arch Stanton and Sean Flanagan had to settle for second at 12/1. This deprived Flanagan of a treble on the card as he scored earlier on Arcenfete and Dinons Ourmanmassini (9/1) and Goodnightngodbless (6/1) completed the placings in third and fourth respectively.

Winning trainer Maurice Phelan led Batchelors Walk up.
