No kidding Dooly has his horse right for home win

Teqany s win in race two aside, it had generally been a miserable session thus far for the layers at the first stage of the Tramore festival. Cantkidakidder (14/1) provided a little more respite in the O'Neill's Bar Handicap Hurdle under James O'Sullivan.

He's trained by a Tramore native in Noel Dooly though, so Cantkidakidder is unlikely to have gone completely un-backed.

Anyone that supported the eight-year-old will have enjoyed watching the two mile five furlong event as Cantkidakidder eventually comfortably accounted for Double Windsor by four and a half lengths.

Pace-setting favourite Epsilon Indi faded into sixth after being headed before two out.

"I thought he'd run well. I thought he'd run well the last day at Tipperary too, but after six races on the chase track the ground went against him, it was kind of slippy. It was well watered and he just didn't enjoy it all that day," said Dooly.

"I'll always have him right for Tramore anyway!"
