Mill Quest kept up the good work for Gordon Elliott when landing the odds in the featured McCarthys Irish Bar, Lexington Handicap Chase at Tramore.

The master of Cullentra House had a day to remember at Perth yesterday when teaming up with Richard Johnson for a five-timer, and Mill Quest kept the momentum going at odds of 10/11.

The Milan mare has been kept busy since joining Elliott from Terence O’Brien this season, and was recording her fourth win in just over a month.

The previous three wins were all gained over hurdles, and punters waded into Jack Kennedy’s mount off what appeared a lenient mark of 105 (compared to her current hurdle rating of 126).

She cruised to the front approaching two out and kept on strongly to beat Na Trachtalai Abu by two and a half lengths.

The pair stretched ten lengths clear of the front-running Theatre Dreams who had to settle for third.

Kennedy said, "She is a very nice mare, and is very versatile whether it's hurdles or fences, or the ground. It's nice for the lads (the Coolglen Syndicate) who are getting great craic out of her. She is a good fun horse for the summer.

"She jumped and travelled great."
