It was a battle of the stable-mates in the five furlong nursery at Naas with Yolo Again showing a great attitude to see off So Familiar

The Johnny Murtagh trained pair fought it out from the furlong marker after So Familiar came to tackle the front-running Yolo Again.

There was nothing between the pair in the closing stages but 8/1 shot Yolo Again just had the edge at the line to record a short-head success.

The winner was making her eighth outing of the year and had won her maiden at Navan back in early June on her third run.

Murtagh, “I told the boys she might have it all to do to give so much weight to the other one. She’s tough and hardy, and she’s been running in Listed races so dropping her back into a nursery played to her strength.

“She’s all pace, all heart, and it’s a great result for the lads. I hope they did the reverse forecast!

“So Familiar probably needs a bit more ease in the ground. I thought coming here the ground would be a bit slower than it was.”
