Sunday Sovereign has his first start in the famous King Power Racing silks at Tipperary today, as he contests the featured Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Race.

A fine fourth on debut at Naas in April, the Paddy Twomey-trained son of Equiano got off the mark on his next start at the Curragh.

He beat Arizona there and that Aidan O’Brien-trained colt since impressed when a facile winner on his subsequent outing.

Sunday Sovereign faces six rivals now in this five-furlong contest, with the Michael O’Callaghan-trained Lorelei Rock the main danger.

The Camacho filly beat Air Force Jet and Daughter In Law when successful on debut at Naas, and they both have both subsequently won at Navan and the Curragh respectively. Piece Of Paradise who was well-backed on debut, is an interesting contender for Fozzy Stack, while St Georges Head is another with claims, fitted with blinkers for the first time.

Andrew Slattery will be aboard Piece Of Paradise and he takes the ride on Comhghairdeas in the Lengthen The Odds With BetVictor Handicap.

A course-and-distance winner, the Acclamation five-year-old appears to have solid claims in this competitive five-furlong heat. Dapper Power who finished second at Down Royal on Friday, is sure to have plenty of supporters, while Show Must Go On and Joseph O’Brien’s True Blue Moon are other leading hopes.

O’Brien saddles top-weight Linger in the first division of the Visit Tipperary Handicap.

A good winner at Gowran on his penultimate start, the son of Cape Cross should give a good account of himself in this mile-and-a-half contest.

The Willie Mullins-trained Eight And Bob Gordon Elliott’s Walkabout and the lightly-raced Hit The Rocks are others to consider in this wide-open affair.

The hat-trick seeking Cork Harbour is the stand out name in the second split, with Miracles In May appearing to be her main danger.

Ken Condon trains Cork Harbour and he is represented by Mistress Of Venice in the BetVictor Bet 5 Get 30 Offer Maiden.

Placed on her last three starts, the Bated Breath bay would be a deserving winner, tried in blinkers for the first time. Yuften and Lincoln appear the two to focus on in the opening Welcome To Tipperary Claiming Race, while Super Treat might be able to make the breakthrough in the Irish Stallion Farms EBF Median Auction Maiden.

Thirteen have been declared for the concluding BetVictor Proudly Supporting Irish Racing Maiden, with Harpo Marx Red Gerry and newcomers Time Capsule and Royal Aide the stand-out names here.
