Farrier Noel Hynds was on the mark at Wexford today as the part-time trainer/owner won the Sliabh Coillte Handicap Hurdle with his My Peggy

Ridden by Danny Mullins, the daughter of Yeats made most of the running to beat Onefortherose by three and three parts of a length.

Afterwards Hynds stated “she has just been a filly that has taken time. We fancied her a bit at the start but just wee niggly things have held her up. She has just started to come together recently with a bit of age and maybe she'll pick up something else at this same level. She'll probably go for another handicap now if she is not sold.

"I train in Banbridge, Co Down and work as a farrier. I only have a few horses as a part-time job."
