Effernock Fizz showed her Tipperary 66/1 success from last month to be no fluke, when victorious again from the front in the BoyleSports Novice Hurdle at Wexford.

She won by fifteen lengths at 'the junction,' and whilst it wasn't as easy this time, again with Adam Short in the plate, victory was achieved by three and a quarter lengths from Soldier At War

Winning trainer Katy Brown said: "We fancied her coming into this. Adam sat on her the other day up the Old Vic and he said she had improved from her run at Tipperary.

"The person who plays the biggest part in this is my partner Danny, he rides her out every day.

"She is quirky enough and has had her problems but hopefully we have got to the bottom of them now and she can win a few more.

"The tactics have changed completely with her and we were lucky enough that she got an easy lead there again.

"There is a winners of two at Bellewstown on July 5th so we will probably aim for that.

"Hopefully the ground will stay nice for her and fingers crossed we might make it three in-a-row."

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer reported to the Stewards that Kashid (USA) trained by J.J.Lambe was found to have blood at the nose following exercised induced pulmonary haemorrhage.
