Able Jack followed up Friday's night's success at Dundalk with a second win in five days at Co Louth venue today, landing division two of the www.dundalkstadium.com Handicap for trainer Pat Murphy and jockey Luke McAteer.

Able Jack was today carrying a mandatory 6lbs penalty for Friday's success, gained under 5lbs claimer Gavin Ryan and was today partnered by 7lbs claimer Luke McAteer, who steered him to a half length win over A Likely Story

Murphy was registering a third winner from his last five runners and his seventh success this year from just 55 runs, and the Co Kilkenny based trainer later said “he seems to have found his form again and obviously the cheek pieces are working. I had him entered so he could run in a 45-65 handicap again.

“We’ll give him a little bit of a break over the Christmas and see what we’ll do then, Luke gave him a great ride.”
