Elizabethan (10/3) comfortably won the Irish Stallion Farms EBF (Fillies) Maiden, being eased close home to beat Elanora (15/2) by a length and a quarter.

Seamie Heffernan brought the War Front filly to race towards the stands’ side and she raced pretty much on her own in the last couple of furlongs.

She was well on top inside the final furlong and won with plenty to spare. Colfer Kay (7/2) was a further three lengths away in third.

The winner had been third over course and distance last month and was getting off the mark at the fourth attempt. Aidan O’Brien’s filly is a full-sister to Group 1 winners Roly Poly and U S Navy Flag.

“She had some lovely runs and is progressing slowly,” said Heffernan.
