Magnanimity & Bostons Angel are the stand out names among thirteen horses entered for the Grade 2 Bobbyjo Chase at Fairyhouse on Saturday.

Last year's top novice chasers Magnanimity and Bostons Angel were last seen in the Hennessy Gold Cup at Leopardstown earlier this month.

Magnanimity sprawled on landing after the fourth last and that put pay to his chance and he trailed in last of the seven runners while Bostons Angel ran a disappointing race to finish sixth well behind winner Quel Esprit.

Both horses will be bidding to get their seasons back on track in the 3m 1f contest.

Willie Mullins has four horses entered including last year's winner The Midnight Club, who has been disappointing so far this season, and recent Thyestes Chase winner On His Own.

The latter, so impressive last time out, would be an interesting runner should he take part.

Quiscover Fontaine and Prince Du Beauchene could also line up for the Champion trainer.

Other notable entries include 2009 winner Black Apalachi, dual Kerry National winner Alfa Beat, and Seabass winner of six on the bounce now.
