Ffos Las called off

Friday afternoon's fixture at Ffos Las has been abandoned due to a waterlogged track.

Officials at the Welsh circuit made the relatively straightforward decision following a 7.30am inspection.

Twenty-one millimetres of rainfall on Thursday and overnight put paid to any chances of the meeting going ahead.

Clerk of the course Tim Long said: "When the rain did arrive, it really came down.

"We had 21mm in total, and the ground was saturated this morning.

"There was no chance we were going to get the improvement needed to be able to race."

Sunday's fixture at Towcester has also been abandoned because of a waterlogged track.
