The 8yo holds an entry in the Grade One John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase on December 9th and will be put in the Listed chase over three miles and one furlong at Aintree 24 hours earlier.
Murphy was pleased with Quito De La Roque's third place behind Kauto Stone in the JNwine.com Champion Chase at Down Royal four weeks ago - his first racecourse action since last Christmas.
"He's in the John Durkan and we'll give him an entry at Aintree in the three-mile Listed chase the day before," said the Co Wexford trainer.
"We'll stick him in there and have a look. It will give us another option and it looks like he'll run in one or the other. He ran well at Down Royal and I'm hoping he'll come on a bit for it."
St Stephens Day in Leopardstown is one of the iconic racing days of the year and 2014 looks set to deliver on this long established standard. The most appealing bet for a Tote Punter on this day looks set to be the Jackpot which has been guaranteed at an incredibly generous €20,000. I say generous because as we go through the card you will see that the jackpot puzzle looks a relatively easy one to solve with two small field short priced favourites courtesy of the all-conquering Willie Mullins stable. In addition to the guarantee Tote are also offering a €10,000 bonus to any punter who happens to be the only winner of the jackpot on any particular day.
