Navan remains heavy

The ground at Navan remains heavy ahead of the big novice hurdle there on Sunday.

The track received 6mm of rain overnight and it is currently raining at the venue.

The Grade One Navan Novice Hurdle has attracted a strong entry including Don Cossack, Ally Cascade and Busty Brown.

The forecast is for rain today, clearing later while it is to be mainly dry on Saturday and Sunday.

Fairyhouse race on Saturday and the course is now heavy, soft in places following over 7mm of rain overnight and during this morning.
