Rule The World will miss this afternoon's Grade 1 Navan Novice Hurdle after picking up a stone bruise.

Mouse Morris' gelding looked set to be a strong second string in the feature event for owners Gigginstown, who also have short-priced favourite Don Cossack.

Gordon Elliott's charge will now face just four rivals in the two-and-a-half mile event and has hardened into 1/2 favourite (from 8/13).

Muirhead is also an absentee from the Grade 2 Tara Hurdle.

Betting Advice For Cheltenham

With origins that go back to the mid-nineteenth century, there are no signs that the popularity of this spectacular festival of racing are diminishing here or in the UK. If anything, the live television coverage it now has brings it to an even wider audience today than it has ever enjoyed before. Betting still remains an important part of the festival for many who attend and the 2017 event will be no exception. If you are looking to place a sporting wager or two on the races at Cheltenham, then you might like to consider the following factors before deciding where to put your money.
