Leopardstown report the ground still soft after a dry night at the Dublin venue.

The forecast is for the wind to die down later today to give a dry day.

The big Christmas fixture kicks off on St Stephen's day with the opening day highlight the Grade 1 Racing Post Novice Chase.

The race could feature a clash between Drinmore Chase winner Arvika Ligeonniere and Oscars Well.

The going remains heavy at Limerick ahead of their four-day Christmas festival meeting.

Action kicks off at Greenmount Park on St Stephen's Day with a Grade 2 Novice Chase the feature.

The forecast is for a dry day today with showers tomorrow and Tuesday.

The ground at Thurles for today's meeting remains unchanged following 1.2mm of rain overnight.

The chase course is heavy and the hurdle track is soft to heavy.
