Oscar the biggest mover in handicap ratings

The Dessie Hughes trained Wise Oscar has been given a sixteen pound hike (now rated 123) by the handicapper after his easy handicap hurdle success at Fairyhouse on New Year's Day.

The gelding is the biggest mover in this weeks revised ratings while Rule The World, Lookoutnow, Bog Warrior, Arnaud and Moving On are others to have received big hikes over hurdles.

At the other end of the scale Dazzlers Day has gone down three pounds after his disappointing performance at Thurles on Thursday.

The Charles Byrnes trained gelding went up fourteen pounds after an easy win at Limerick at Christmas but he has gone down to a mark of 99 after Thursday.

Over fences Mount Benbulben and Roi Du Mee have both gone up eight pounds to 144 and 156 respectively.

The former finished a close second to Maarito at Naas yesterday while the latter completed his four in-a-row in the Listed Chase at Tramore on New Year's Day.

At the other end of the scale, over fences, Hughies Grey (down five) and Telenor (down four) have been dropped to marks of 125 and 119 after disappointing runs at Fairyhouse and Naas.
