Navan was passed fit for racing following a course inspection early this morning.

Officials decided to call an inspection for 8am due to the threat of a severe frost but the track was given the okay a little earlier than scheduled.

The going remains heavy, and the first on a seven-race card gets underway at 12.45pm.

In the UK, Kelso has also beaten the cold snap and goes ahead this afternoon but the meeting at Fakenham is subject to a further inspection at 10am.
