Akasaka gained a fifth career success when landing the Floodlit Friday Nights At Dundalk Handicap, from a rating of 95, at Dundalk this evening for trainer Eddie Lynam and jockey Ian Brennan.

Brennan moved the son of King's Best to the front a furlong and a half out and the pair stayed on well to defeat Shake The Bucket.

Afterwards Lynam said “he's a consistent and talented horse. He's edging up the handicap and will have a rating of close to 100 after this but I wouldn't say he's a 100 horse. Weight is no problem to him and hopefully we'll find another race back here.
