Trainer Willie Mullins is delighted with Hurricane Fly's preparation for the BHP Insurance Irish Champion Hurdle at Leopardstown next Sunday.

The former Champion Hurdler is 2/5 favourite for the race with Paddy Power and is generally priced as the 7/2 favourite in his bid to regain his Champion Hurdle crown at Cheltenham.

Writing in Sunday's Racing Post, says "We've been a lot happier with him (Hurricane Fly) this season compared with last season, He'll work during the week to put the finishing touches to his preparation for Sunday's big race and it's a case of so far so good with him at this stage."
