Today's all-weather fixture at Lingfield goes ahead after a planned 7am inspection was scrapped.

Clerk of the course Neil Mackenzie Ross called the early-morning check due to the threat of further snow overnight, but found conditions perfectly raceable after arriving on course.

Mackenzie Ross said: "We're good to go.

"We only had a bit of sleety snow overnight, nothing much, so we have no problems at all.

"I was happy when I got in we'd be fine to race, so I was able to call the meeting on early."
