Frankie Dettori is looking forward to getting back to normal life after his adventure in the Celebrity Big Brother house came to an end earlier this week.
Dettori was voted out by the public in a live double-header eviction on Wednesday before the Channel Five series came to an end on Friday.
The Italian rider entered the house just weeks after he was given a six-month ban from racing following a positive drugs test in Paris in September, which he said had left him feeling "ashamed and embarrassed".
Dettori's suspension runs until May 19 and he plans to spend some time with his family before turning his attentions back to the racing game in early April.
Speaking on Channel 4 Racing's The Morning Line, the jockey said: "I've got to give some time to my family, so I'm going to stay around for a while and I'm going to go skiing.
"I'm going to stay away (from racing) until early April, as once I start watching races I'm going to start missing it. The later I leave it the better.
"That will give me a good six weeks from early April until May 20 to get fit, start riding out and getting contacts again.
"I've been married for 18 years to Godolphin and I'm not just going to jump straight into another relationship.
"I just want to find my feet, get my love of the game back and start fresh.
"I'm missing it so much. I'm missing the routine and missing being in the gym and training and the competition.
"This is the longest I've been without racing, but my love for the game is still there."
Reflecting on his time in the Big Brother house, Dettori insists it was an enjoyable experience overall and has revealed he plans to set up an ownership syndicate with his fellow housemates.
He said: "I enjoyed everything. It was more of a mental job than a physical job. We didn't really do much but they played with your mind big time.
"I enjoyed the tasks, the mood swings and the fighting in the house. It was all part of a great experience and it was really fun.
"By the time I got towards the end I was ready to go out, but if anybody asked I would advise them to do it because it's a (once in a) lifetime experience. You'd never get to do something like that again.
"I am in charge of finding a horse, we're all going to chip in as housemates, we're going to have a Big Brother house syndicate and everyone wants me to ride it.
"I'm on the lookout for a sprinter so we can have a bit of fun."
The show was won on Friday night by former X Factor contestant Rylan Clark, who entered the house with Dettori on the opening night.
